Terms of service

These terms apply to all purchases from forged3d.co.za. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.

1. About us

This website is operated by Forged3D, a 3D printing business based in Olympus, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. You can contact us at info@forged3d.co.za.

2. Our products

All products are 3D printed to order in our Pretoria workshop. Because each item is made individually, small variations in finish, texture and fine layer lines are a natural part of the process and are not defects. Colours on screen may look slightly different to the finished item. Dimensions are approximate and may vary by a few millimetres.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Payfast, and we never see or store your card details. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. If an item is unavailable, or a price or product was shown in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Personalised and custom orders

For personalised and custom orders, you are responsible for checking that the names, text, sizes and other details you provide are correct. By sending us a logo, image, design or file, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. We may decline any order we consider offensive, unlawful or that may infringe someone else's rights. Personalised and custom items cannot be returned for a change of mind, as set out in our Refund policy.

6. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping policy. Ownership and risk pass to you once your order has been delivered.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled according to our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

8. Use of products

Please use our products for their intended purpose. Functional and engineering parts are made to the specifications agreed with you. Unless we have agreed in writing, it is your responsibility to make sure a part is suitable for your specific use, including load, heat and outdoor exposure.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including product designs, photos, text and logos, belongs to Forged3D or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Designs and files supplied by customers remain the property of the customer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Forged3D is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
